Windows and doors leave Salmtal into all regions of
Germany and its neighboring European countries today. Salmtal is centrally
located in the heart of Europe, in the Trier region. The region stands
out with its very good transportation connections to the German and
international highway grid.
The region's history began as early as 2,000 years ago with the foundation
of Germany's oldest city of Trier by the Romans. In addition to wine,
the Romans brought along their culture and their highly developed architecture,
which can still be admired in many places today in locations such as
Porta Nigra in Trier.
The technical standard in building craft, which was high in those days
already, has continued until today and given the region a pool of very
good craftspeople.
